Illuminator for Multi-Wavelength Emission

That illuminator can generate pulses from 80 to 130 ns from up to four independent diodes. Each diode can emit at a given wavelength, 1 to 2 mJ depending on the pulse width. That leads to an overall emission of maximum 8 mJ. It can support a pulse repetition rate of up to 6 kHz (higher frequencies, up to 10 kHz, can be used in burst mode of 20 pulses). A maximum average optical power of 24 W can be generated if used in combination with a suitable cooling system.

That unique high-tech module integrates up to 4 diodes and a driver board into a closed protecting housing and will then be particularly suitable for high average power generation at one wavelength or for multi-wavelength emission. Components of that module have been selected to provide the highest possible efficiency, leading to a low power consumption. Additional equipment required to operate that illuminator, such as external low and high voltage power supplies, function generator and thermoelectric assembly for active cooling, can be provided as an option.

That illuminator can generate pulses from 30 to 100 ns with energies from 1 to 4 mJ depending on the pulse width. It can support pulse repetition rates in the range 1-6 kHz, depending on output energy per pulse, with a maximum average power of 6 W.

That module integrates a laser diode and a driver board into a closed protecting housing. Components of that module have been selected to provide the highest possible efficiency, leading to a low power consumption, and the brightest possible emission. Additional equipment required to operate that illuminator, such as external low voltage power supplies, function generator and thermoelectric assembly for active cooling, can be provided as an option.
