Fiber Chuck and Holders
Fiber Chuck – FC – 1 Series
This fiber chuck can be used for mounting optical fibers safely and rigidly. The chuck is a V grooved rod having both ends flattened. Fiber is held in position inside the groove by rubber clamps as shown in the photograph.

The stages make use of preloaded rolling contact ball bearing guide ways for frictionless and stick-slip free positioning. The positioner is equiped with a fiber chuck and chuck holder to clamp fibers up to1 mm diameter.
